A wonderful morning tea arranged by Sharlene Dadd where we heard once again of the miracle of cochlea implant. Here I met the impressive Rosie Gallen, a graduate to admire, who addressed us briefly about the way in which she was able to overcome her hearing loss with two cochlea implants and go on to a successful career. She works in Interior Design which she describes as a dream come true. So the Shepherd Centre continues its wonderful efforts and continually works at raising money to be able to do this. It’s easy to see how worthwhile this is.
