Exciting plans a re afoot for the presentation for OUTSIDE at the Sydney Writers’ Festival, 6th May, 11.15am at the Carriageworks, Newtown.
At a meeting with Director of Children’s and YA, Claire Sawyer, I met the talented and energetic saxophonist Christine Leonard who is making magical connections for the quartet to perform at the reading, including the inimitable master of the accordian, James Crabb.
Sure to make Elena Katz Chernin’s lively score come alive as we go through the book showing Ritva Votila’s amazing illustrations. This will be a feast of music, word and art for the whole family.
